독일과 미국이 우크라이나에 탱크를 지원할 것을 공표한 데 이어 추가적으로 전투기를 지원할 것이냐는 의문이 올라오는 가운데, 올라프 숄츠 독일 총리는 23일 독일이 우크라이나에 전투기를 보내지 않을 것이라고 거듭 강조했다.

숄츠 총리는 지난 수요일에 14대의 레오파드 2 탱크를 우크라이나에 지원키로 결정하고 다른 유럽 국가들이 그들의 탱크를 보내는 것 역시 동의했다. 한편 미국은 아브라함 탱크 31대을 지원할 것을 밝혔다.
