Although women’s representation in the labor market has significantly increased in recent years, we are far from having achieved gender equality in the workplace. This ministerial conference organized by the French Presidency of the Council of the European Union, attended by the equality ministers and European Commissioner Helena Dalli, will be an opportunity to reaffirm the close link between the economic empowerment of women and effectively achieving equal rights.
